Phyllis Ann Jackson was born on July 4, 1949 to the parents of Eliza Mae Artis and William Edward Bailey. She departed this earth on February 10, 2025.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband of 48 years, Lorenzo Jackson, her brothers, William, Steven, and Gary Bailey. Her sisters Christine Y. Bailey and Marcia J Bailey-Early. Grandson Art Pickens.
She leaves to cherish her memories to 4 children, Felicia (Kevin) Adams, Rhonda J Jackson, Kathy (Art Pickens) Jackson, and Lorenzo Scott (Jobina) Jackson. Two sisters Ilester Bailey and Vanessa Goldstein. Sisters-in-law Cynthia Bailey and Katie Jackson. Brothers-in-law Robert Jackson, Clifford (Deborah) Jackson, Eddie Jackson and Sidney Jackson. Only living uncle Wallace (Ozetta) Bailey. Grandchildren Michael, Tiara (Guy), Dawaughn, DaQuan, Shearia, LaQuana, Mikeyla, Antwanette, and Loren. The oldest great child Mikalita and 25 more. 2 ride-or-die cousins Mary West, Gayle Hogan and friend Teresa King. A hosts of cousins, nieces and nephews and so many friends that she kept up with daily that you would not believe.
She joined Union Baptist Church at an early age she sang in the youth choir and attended Sunday school weekly. Coming back as an adult she would attend until her health had her watching on line.
Phyllis attended Urbancrest Elementary and graduated from Grove City High School. Phyllis worked a few job but her career job where she retired was from the State of Ohio where she worked at Circleville Juvenile Correctional Institute.
At a young age she met Lorenzo and they married and had the 4 children. If anyone was familiar with Phyllis at all you knew that her life was centered around her family and friends. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend. Until the day she passed she made sure she talked to more than one of them daily.
Her loving support for all that came in contact with her will be remembered forever.
