Phyllis "Joann" Meek, age 83 of Westerville, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Joann was born December 7, 1928 in Athens, OH to the late Roscoe and Wilma (Palmer) Brickles. In addition she was preceded by husband, Richard E. "Dick" Meek Sr.
Survived by children, Cassandra (Bruce) Schoenleb, Richard (Gaye) Meek, Rhonda (David) Cooper, Nadine (Jeff) Swan, Damon (Nanciann) Meek; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Deanna (Lenny) Denney; uncle, David (Helen) Brickles; sisters-in-law, Jane Oelgoetz and Bonnie (Ken) Bean; brothers-in-law, Don Harold Meek and Raymond (Maryellen) Meek; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Friends may call 5-8 PM Friday, July 20, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231 where services will be held 10 AM Saturday. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
