Phyllis Ann Ward, 69, passed away January 1, 2011 in Columbus, OH after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was born and raised in Shady Valley, TN. Most of her life she lived in the mountainous regions of Tennessee and North Carolina. Her home was in Mountain City, TN for many years. Her devotion was to her husband and children. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, E. Scott and Lula Pearl Hawks; husband, Harold and beloved daughter, Pamela Marie. She is survived by her son, Eddie (Tonya); mother-in-law, Pearl Ward; sister- in -law, Bettie Jean; son-in-law, Jerry Perkins and five grandchildren; Bradley Wills, Chelsea Perkins, Amanda, C. Aaron and Savanna. Memorial services will be held at the Shady Valley Presbyterian Church in Shady Valley, TN from 2-4pm on Saturday, January 8th.
