Rachel Lynne Brehm, age 59, drew her last breath at home in Sunbury, Ohio on Tuesday, February 8th. She had been battling cancer for 6 years. Rachel was born January 24, 1963, in Holmes County to Charles and Marilyn Underwood along with her sisters Ruth Ann and Diana. She is now the guardian angel of her husband Donald Brehm, their daughter Bethany, and grandson Boone.
Rachel carried on the tradition of canning, making dresses for her daughter (even matching ones for her dolls), and homemade meals every night. She was known for listening to endless stories, being a second mom to many of her daughters' friends, and not only being a wife but a best friend to her husband.
There will be a memorial in the summer at home in the garden where she loved to be. Details will follow close to the celebration of her life. Rachel, daughter, sister, wife, mommy, nana, best friend. We love you more than sunshine and lightning bugs.
