Rae E. Williams, 89, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Born to the late Ward K and Matilda (Cesar) Williams on July 16, 1919, in Sharon, CT, Rae was also preceded by her husband, Theodie Williams; son, Raymond Williams; sister, Dorothy Shaw. Survivors include her daughters, Marlene Stanford and Katherine Overton; grandchildren, Candice (Morgan) Jackson, Barry (Stacie) Overton, Malcolm Stanford, Katrina (Nari) Moore, Marcus Stanford, Shawn (Patrilla) Williams, Matthew Stanford; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. At Rae's request, her body has been donated to The Ohio State University Division of Anatomy. Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to serve the Rae Williams family.
