Ralph C. Chope Jr.

Ralph C. Chope Jr., 54, Powell, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Ralph was born in Lakewood, OH on June 27, 1956 to Ralph C and Ethyl (Goodworth) and is preceeded in death by his father, Ralph C. and step-mother, Dorothy Chope; step-father, Perry Bendler. Survivors include his mother, Ethyl Bendler; wife, Paula (Yetzer) Chope; son, Andrew C. Chope;sisters, Lynn(Greg) Orlosky, Barb Gannon, Linda and Beth Bendler; Julie ((Bill) Ellis, Robbie (Dan) Tintimonaco, Diane Radano; brother, Scott (Tracy) Bendler; father and monther-in-law, Richard and Joan Yetzer; sister-in-law, Diane (Rand) Dittmar; brother-in-laws, Doug Yetzer, Phil (Carol) Yetzer and Brian Yetzer; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Ralph was a broadcast technician with WCMH-TV in Columbus and a stay-at-home dad. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Sunday, February 20th at Grace Point Community Church, 2393 Peachblow Road, Lewis Center, OH 43034. The service will begin at 1:30 with a baseball theme luncheon immediately following.
