Ralph E. Sandlin, 68, of Orient, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at home with his family. He was born April 25, 1943 in Columbus, OH.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Zella Sandlin. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; daughters, Rachael, of Athens, GA, Christy (Scott) O'Conner and Tammy (Mike) Zeller; sisters, Lois (Dave) Bonniewell and Linda Sandlin; 5 grandchildren and 1 nephew.
Ralph is a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Grove City, Franklin County Farm Bureau and Early Risers Farm Council. After retirement from the propane industry, Ralph filled his time working at Meijer where he was known as the "Fishman". He had a love for animals and model railroading.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The First Baptist Church of Grove City Building Fund, 3301 Orders Rd., Grove City, OH 43123.
