Ralph M. "Brownie" Brown, 86, Columbus, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Brownie was born in Columbus on March 19, 1924, and is preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters and his daughter and son-in-law, Janette and Stephen Wolfe. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth "Betty" (Hughes) Brown; daughters, Anita (David) McDaniel, Carole (Bryan) Brewer, Mary Beth (Cornett) Goldsberry; several sisters and a brother; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was a decorated WW II Veteran, retired after 41 years at Lennox Industries and was a member of New Life Church Gahanna. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service Tuesday, June 29, 2010, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Church Gahanna Missions, 3690 Stygler Road, Gahanna, OH 43230.
