Ramona Lynne (Davis) Giddens, age 73, was called to heaven from the Kobacker Hospice House in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, June 22, 2013. She was born October 18, 1939 in Urbana, Ohio, to the late Ronald L. and Cozy P. (Younce) Davis, Sr.
She loved the Lord with all her heart and lived her life trying to help those less fortunate. Her passions included working with children, refugees, and the deaf. She never met a stranger and exemplified God's word by always being forgiving and loving everyone in her life unconditionally.
She is survived by sister, Joyce Y. Dorsten; brother, Ronald L. Davis, Jr.; daughters Twyla J. May, Tonya L. (Trent) Holt, Tracie L. (Robbie) Gipson, and N. Terese (Francisco) Camacho; grandsons, Brylan H. May, Logen C. Gipson, Landen M. Gipson, and Hunter T. Holt; granddaughters, Hannah D. Holt and Natalie P. Camacho; and nine special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother-in-laws, Cyril Dorsten and Gary R. McDaniel, Sr.; and twin daughters, Carla and Darla McDaniel.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. at High Praise Ministries, 148 Water Street, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
