Rand Westgate

Rand "Randy" Westgate, age 63, passed away on January 17, 2021. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 13, 1957 to the late Arthur and Frances Westgate.
He is survived by wife, Yunecy Kho Westgate; Jason Rand Westgate and John Lester Kho Fernandez; daughter, Jennifer Nicole Sherfield; son-in-Law, Yrik Lemone King Thomas Sherfield Jr.; grandchildren, Lena Josephine Hill-Sherfield, Eleanor Rayne Sherfield, and Cecelia Joy Sherfield; siblings, Richard Westgate and Marcia Westgate; first wife, Patricia Westgate; as well as loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a host of long-time friends.
Rand enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins dominate respectively. Served in the United States Army from 1976 to 1983 primarily as a clinical and medical specialist receiving multiple citations. He was a proud veteran and valued his time served for the invaluable lessons he learned.
Randy attended the University of Maryland - BS Management 1994, as well as the University of Phoenix - MBA Technology Management 2005, and also the Northcentral University - DBA Homeland Security 201.
He worked at Nationwide as a Consultant in Continuity Management from 2005-until retiring October 2020. Known for his technical expertise and precision for detail; He was looking forward to spending time with family, traveling and remained grateful for all of his blessings.

of funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
