Randall "Randy" S. Wakeland, age 53, passed Wednesday, November 21, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy never gave up. Randy was a 1972 graduate of FHHS and was a US Air Force veteran, having served with the Red Horse division at Hurlburt Field, FL and Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Robert S. Wakeland in 2006. Randy is survived by his wife, Tracey; son, Pearce; daughter, Angela (Ryan) Thornton; granddaughter, Lauren; mother, Mona Wakeland; sister, Beverly (Wakeland) Kaiser; nephew, Kristopher Kaiser; special aunt and uncle, Michael and Veda Nobel; in laws, Greg and Francy Green and Ed and Linda Russ; and many other relatives and friends. At Randy's request a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel.
