April 29, 1959 — August 2, 2022
Randy L. Cathey, 63, passed away Aug. 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Archie and Barbara Cathey. Randy is survived by wife, Kay; son, Ronnie (Rachel) Shoemaker; daughters, Karla (Joshua) Legg, Kimberlie (Stephen) Smitson, and Katti (Nick) Reasoner; favorite son, Kane; grandchildren, Kyndell, Peyton and Harper Baby, Kiy Kiy, Mychael and Kat, Mason, Sophia, Kholton, Khristian and Eli, Abbie, Zoey, Levi, Ashton and Brooklyn; brothers, Allen (Ellen) and Tim Cathey; numerous nieces and nephews.
Randy served our country in the US Navy. He was a sheet metal mechanic at Defabco for 32 years. Randy enjoyed fishing, riding ATVs, and doing any outdoor activities. He was a woodworking genius. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation Tuesday Aug. 9, 2022 from 2-6pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
