Randy Pennington

Randy E. Pennington, 53, of Grove City, Ohio passed into God's arms on August 13, 2024. He was a devoted father, father-in-law, paw paw, son, brother, uncle, friend, and employee. He loved hanging out with family and friends, frying hot dogs for the outside critters, grilling a steak, listening to his music, watching reruns of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saved By the Bell, and The Breakfast Club. He enjoyed watching golf, WWE, and his nerve-racking Oakland A's (which was sometimes hard.)

Randy was preceded in death by his father and heavenly grandchild. 

He is survived by his daughter Morgan, son in law Joey and precious grandson, Emmett; his mother Linda, sister Angie and nephews Cameron and Kaden, along with his aunts, uncles and friends.

Randy proudly served our country with the 10th Mt. Division, Bravo Co. 187 Infantry. Airborne certified, earning his Blood wings. He was stationed at Ft. Drum, New York and served in Honduras and Somalia.

He was a hunter, fisherman, and bowler, including a 300 game. 

Randy was looking forward to enjoying and catching up with his 1989 Grove City High School class reunion.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 from 11am-1pm for calling hours. A funeral will follow starting at 1pm. An entombment will take place at Sunset Cemetery where military honors will be held in Randy's honor. 

The family is thankful to Randy's dear friends, Angela and Chris for their help and to everyone who has reached out in this most difficult time.
