Raymina V. Jones Black, Born to parents Raymond C. Jones Sr. and Wilhelmina R. Wooten Winder on August 24, 1944 in Washington, D.C and went home on October 20, 2021 in Columbus, OH.
Raymina was raised in both Columbus, Ohio and Boston, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of the Boston School for Girls after which she attended Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Raymina was a Community Activist for the South Boston Area where she put together many community events. She became Mother to 4 children; Luciano (deceased at age 51), Charles (deceased at age 3), Charlissa, and Leonard. After taking ill she returned to Columbus, Ohio with her children where she lived the remainder of her life.
Visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231, where a Home Going Service will begin at 12pm.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
Family respectfully asks all guests to wear masks.
