Raymond S. Burney, Jr., 76, passed away June 16, 2008. Former member of the T.O.T.'s Golf Club. Retired from the City of Columbus and the Columbus School Board. Served in the Army Airborne as a paratrooper. His parents, Raymond & Martha (Johnson) preceded him in death along with brother, Robert. Survived by his wife, Laura; children, Cynthia, Bobette, Keith and step-daughter, Kelly Blanton; sisters, Dorothy, Betty, Evelyn; brothers, James and Thomas; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 20, 2008, 5-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH.
