Reata M. Crabtree

Pastor Reata Marie Crabtree, age 65, passed away on December 29, 2020. She was born on August 19, 1955 to the late Ruth and Howard Speakman.

Reata stood beside her loving husband as they pastored Victory Life Ministries in Paris, PA from 1994-2005. As well at their work at Calvary Road Community Church in Grove City until she was called home to be with her loving husband and her Lord.

Reata was a very giving and compassionate woman whether it be a family member, a friend, or stranger she made sure to help and care for them as if they were her own. Reata spent her life finding ways to give back to the people within her community.

Reata married her high school sweetheart Dr. Steven G. Crabtree on September 15, 1973 and began to build a beautiful family that she loved. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.

Reata is survived by her sons, Gregory (Tiffany), Thomas (Amber); daughter, Amy (Todd) Berry; grandchildren, Jordan, Todd Jr., Alexis, Aleah, Isaiah and Kaylee; brothers, Harold Lee (Alice) Speakman and Harvey David (Kay) Speakman; sisters, Linda Sue (Mike) Monfort and Dorothy Ann McClintick; sisters-in-law, Margaret Speakman and Jean Speakman; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Dr. Steven G. Crabtree; sister, Carolyn Jean Courtright Speakman and brothers, Ronald Edward Speakman and Robert Speakman.

There will be a special Memorial Tribute for Steven and Reata on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Road Community Church, 5108 Norton Road in Grove City with Pastor Rick Murphy officiating. Doors will open at Noon for a gathering prior to the service. The service will be livestream for those who are not able to make it to the service. Those who plan to attend, we respectfully ask that you wear a face mask. Masks will be provided if needed. Burial will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
