Reba Mae Eaton, 86, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at Whetstone Care Center. Born to William and Alma (Sheets) McComb on February 22, 1923, in Pliny, WV, Reba is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Edwin W. Eaton; daughters, Marsha Ann (Fred) Black, Carol Lynne Eaton and Karen Sue (Rod) Gartin; sons, Bill (Ann) and Randy (Holly) Eaton; sister, Muzetta Brown; brother, Bill (Bobbi) McComb; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Reba retired from Time Warner Communications. The Eaton Family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2009, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In addition, visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009, 10 AM – 11 AM prior to the service at 11:00 AM. . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life Care Alliance, 1699 West Mound Street, Columbus, OH 43223 c/o Meals on Wheels. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
