Rebecca Ann Simons went home to be with the lord on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Kobacker House in Columbus surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to Robert Newton and Alice Louise Zeallear on February 24, 1968. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert, sister, Robin Six and father-in-law John Simons. She is survived by her beloved spouse of 22 years Butch; mother, Alice (Gene) Young; brother, Sherman (Cindy) Zeallear; sisters, Dora (Rick) Parsons, Wanda (Donny) Borders, Leanna (John) Gallucci, Tina Miller and step-sister Laurie Harris; brother-in-law, Bob Six and by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and special friends whom she loved dearly. The family would like to recognize and thank the staff of the Kobacker House for the loving and respectful treatment they provided to both Rebecca and her family. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. A celebration of her life service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 1, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial at Harrison Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kobacker House, 3595 Olentangy River Road
