Rebecca Sue Demko

Rebecca Sue Demko, 63, of Columbus, passed away April 29, 2024.

She was born in Columbus on October 26, 1960, to the late James and Betty (Edwards) Elias.

She married Jeffrey M. Demko, of Columbus, on March 12, 1982. She is survived by Jeff, with whom she recently celebrated 42 years of marriage.

Other survivors include one daughter, Sheena (David) Suntheimer and grandchildren Aydon Lake and Mitchell Suntheimer; one son, Shawn (Sarah) Demko and grandchildren Beefy, Izzy and Paisley Demko; sister, Teresa Hall; and many other family members and friends.

Becky grew up in the Columbus area, meeting Jeff at an early age. She started working as a Lunch Provider for Worthington Schools until her retirement in 2012. Her interests included cooking, reading, following various crafting and gardening groups, spending time with family and being a proud “Mamaw” to her beloved grandchildren,
