Rebecca Lape, age 60, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, after courageously battling Lung Cancer.
Becky was born December 31st 1963 at Mount Carmel West Hospital, to the late James and Nancy Radel.
Becky is preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy Radel. Her sister, Colleen Radel, her brother, Mike Radel, and her niece Elizabeth Kuehner.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Lape. Her sons, Josh (Tracy), Tony, Shane (Olivia), and Elgin Lape. Her 9 grandchildren, Shane, Lucas, Gavin, Hunter, Ruby, Blake, Logan, Delilah, and Xander. Her siblings, Kathy Decker, Leo (Joe) Radel, Jane (Tiny), Jimmy (Annette) Radel, and Mary Kuehner. Her many nieces and nephews and special friends.
Becky was a thoughtful and caring person. Always putting everyone first before herself. She thought of everyone and didn't forget anything. Especially at Christmas, sending everyone home with a car loaded with gifts. She loved being thrifty and always found a good deal! She loved music, going to concerts, being outdoors in nature, and yard sales in the Summer. She went above and beyond as a wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother (Mamaw.) She was the best mother and mother-in-law anyone could ask for. She loved spending time with her family. Most of all, her grandchildren. She was so proud of all of them. She was the one to always get the family together. Becky loved orchestrating all of our family gatherings and Sunday dinners. Becky was loved by everyone that knew her and she will be greatly missed by all that are left behind.
