Rebecca L. Simmons, 98, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in Troy, Michigan.
Rebecca was born on February 13, 1924 in Alexandria, Ohio to the late Frank and Victoria Wright.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Simmons; son, Michael Simmons; brothers, Bill Wright, Lee Wright, Tom Wright, Monroe Wright; sister, Virginia Smoot.
Rebecca is survived by daughters, Nancy (Bill) Gracher, Kim (Rick) O'Daniel, Lisa (Bill) Ashbrook, Erin Simmons; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a funeral immediately following at Johnstown Independent Baptist Church, 7397 Johnstown-Alexandria Rd, Johnstown, Ohio, 43031. She will be laid to rest at Green Hill Cemetery.
