Regina "Ricky" Lee Stephan

September 5, 1956 — September 6, 2024

Regina "Ricky" Lee Stephan, a cherished soul known for her boundless love and warmth, passed away on September 6, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 5, 1956, she entered this world with a spirit that would touch the lives of so many, embodying a true best friend to all who knew her.

Ricky heart was as vast as the sky, always embracing those in need. A dedicated wife for 40 years to her beloved husband, Mark Stephan, she personified unconditional love, not only for him but for her children and foster children as well. She was a doting mother to her son, Dustin (Tom Corritore) Watson, daughter, Andrea (Mike Jenkins) Downs, and sons, Nathan Stephan and Corey Stephan. Ricky's legacy is beautifully carried on by her grandchildren: Brianna Clarkson, Bradley Clarkson, Trevor Cahall, Katelyn Downs, and her great-grandchildren, Rhyley Davis, Drecco Young, Beckham Clarkson, and Mi'Laya Clarkson. Each one of them held a special place in her heart.

Ricky found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was cooking for her family, traveling to the mountains, or sharing laughter and stories with friends. She had a natural gift for making everyone feel special; her warm personality and easygoing nature drew people to her like a magnet. Ricky's home was always open, providing shelter and support for anyone who crossed her path.

Her lifelong love for dogs reflected her nurturing spirit. Throughout her life, she was not just a friend but a confidante, always lending a listening ear and providing comfort to those who needed it most. She was the epitome of kindness, often referred to as "a best friend to many," garnering affection wherever she went.

Ricky is survived by her brothers, Mike Hite and Mark Hite, her sister Kim Carnes, and special cousins Tami and Bobbie, who will miss her deeply. Her bond with her sister Kim was particularly cherished, as the two shared countless memories that will remain forever etched in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Hite, her mother, Marcelene Hite, and her sister Pamela Jean Nafzger, all of whom will welcome her with loving arms.
