Reginald M. "Ike" Davis 77, Columbus, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Ike was born in Martins Ferry, OH, May 5, 1933, to Reginald and Audree (Walters) Davis and is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou (Shrodes) Davis; son, Mark (Linda) Davis; daughters, Doreen (Mark) Hoffmanner and Jodelle (Jeff) Hamblin; sister, Joan Dupke; grandchildren, Britney Davis, Courtney (Vince) Uriostegui, Kelsey and Casey Davis, Haleigh and Graham Hoffmanner, Tanner, Madison and Lashay Hamblin; great-grandchild, Olivia Uriostegui. Ike was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Ike was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of the AMVETS and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where the family will observe private funeral services. Inurnment will take place at Riverview Cemetery at a later date. "The world has lost a great man….but heaven has gained an even greater man".
