Rene L. Norris, 88, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born to George and Irene (Strebic) Doud in Detroit, MI., on June 29, 1920, Rene is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Doud. Survivors include her daughter, Marianne (Gary) Bosworth-Bailey; grandchildren, Sandra (John) McDonald and Glen Craigie, Jr; great-grandchildren, John and Hannah McDonald; nieces, Fran Higgins and Patricia Curry; many cousins and friends. Rene worked for Federal Department Stores in Southgate, MI for over 20 years and then worked for over 15 years for the Detroiter as a cashier. Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH is honored to serve the family of Rene Norris.
