Revella P. Hairston, 100, passed away Thursday. June 16, 2011. Revella was born in Tram, KY on August 26, 1910, to Charles and Cora (Gibson) Justice and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nicholas Hairston; sisters, Sophie, Rosie, Gertrude; brother, Curtis. Survivors include her great-nephew, James (Alma) Swain; cousin, Louise (Clifford) Watkins, caretakers for Revella; many additional cousins and friends. Revella was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 40 years and cared for many elderly people for 25 years as a Senior Companion for Anthem Senior Care at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011, 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2011, 11:00 AM at Tram Church of Christ, Tram, KY with visitation one hour prior.
