Rhea Jean Adams, 45, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006, at her residence, in Pleasanton, CA. She was born March 31, 1961 in Columbus, the first daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Winters) Adams. She was a 1979 graduate of Athens High School and received her RN degree from Hocking Technical College. Most recently, Rhea worked for Arcadia Resources, Inc. as a traveling nurse. She is survived by her son, SGT Damian R. Adams, currently serving with the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan; parents of Grove City, OH; sisters, Joy (John) Mohr, Cable, OH, Rhonda (Jeff) Beggrow, Grandview Hts, OH, and Patricia (Edward) Pollock, Baldwinsville, NY; uncles, Marvin Adams and Russell (Linda) Adams; niece, Amanda Pollock; nephews, Chad Pollock and Michael & Kenneth Beggrow. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM, Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, where family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until time of service.
