Richard Buck

Richard Buck, 80, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away March 31, 2024. He was born on November 15, 1943 to his parents Robert Nathan Buck and Anne (Corrington) Buck .

Richard attended Reynoldsburg High School and graduated with the class of 1963. He worked for Ross Labs/ Abbott Nutrition and retired after 30 years. In Richards spare time he loved spending his time outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or playing golf. He enjoyed going to car shows, he even won first place with his 69 Camaro at National Trail Race Way. Richard loved his family and spending time with them, whether camping, going on vacations to North Carolina, Long Beach fishing on the pier or taking charters out to deep sea fish. He even went hunting in Canada for black bear hunting. Richard will truly be missed by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Nathan Buck and Anne (Corrington) Buck, brothers, Ronald and Kenneth Buck, Step-Brother, John McElhinny, and 3 great grandchildren. Surviving family includes, sons, Kevin (Bobbie) Buck and Tim (Elise) Buck, Ex wife, Sondra Buck, siblings, Vicki (Donald) Rollins, Bertie Silverman, Pam McClung and Shirley Buck, nieces and nephews including, John (Theresa) McElhinny, Jeff McElhinny, Jennifer (Mike) Mace, grandchildren, Christen (John) Stankiewicz, Brandon (Michelle) Buck, Mandy (Nathan) Timmons, Robert Sharp, Steven Sharp, Kristen Sharp, and nine great grandchildren.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Richard will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
