Richard A. Burchnell, 79, of Columbus, passed away July 20, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Jody (David) Short, Vickie (Tom) Bellows; grandchildren, Danielle, Naomi, Amanda, Shannon; great-grandchildren, Justin, Aaron and Samara; sisters, Nancy Waters and Mary McCurry and nieces and nephews. Richard was an avid fisherman and loved building model boats. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, July 24, 2006 at the funeral home. Pastor Frank Waters will be officiating with interment at Shaw Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.
