Richard F. Chambers

Richard F. Chambers Sr., 78, passed away September 14, 2024. 

He was preceded in death by parents, Ezra and Freda Chambers; brothers, Ranny, Eddie, Donnie, and Bill Chambers; sister, Linda Talling.

Richard was born in Logan, WV on Nov. 11, 1945. He graduated from North High School and then spent 4 years in the US Navy as an electrician. After that, he married his wife of 54 years, Barbara and had two sons, Richard II and Steven (Mia). Dick is also survived by four grandchildren, Michael, Cody, Blake, and Brooke. 

His work as an insurance agent took him to New Orleans and Tampa and lasted for 35 years. Dick's hobbies including camping, boating, and coaching soccer for the kids. He never missed a football game. 

Per Dick's wishes, there will be no public services. 

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
