Richard LaMont Ely, 77, passed away on July 7, 2021. He was born on January 27, 1944 in Butler, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. Ely and Grace E. Woodrow, brothers, Daniel Ely and Thomas Blankenship.
Surviving family includes loving wife, Debbie, children, Deon (Wendy) Ely, Michelle (Jeff) Trinkaus, grandchildren, Maria, Monique and Gabriella Ely, great-grandchildren, Rosie, Charlotte, Amayah, Bryson, brother and John (Teri) Ely.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6pm, Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Genoa Baptist Church, 7562 Lewis Center Road, Westerville, OH 43082, where a memorial service will begin at 6pm.
