Richard W. Hoffman, of Westerville, passed away October 25. 2021. Richard was born November 20, 1944 in Columbus, OH to Wayne and Hazel (Hott) Hoffman.
Richard proudly served in the Army for 3 years. During that time, he served in Vietnam from 1967-1968 where he was part of the Tet Offensive and was an army medic, working in the burn unit. Richard retired from IBM.
Richard will be deeply missed by his wife Jerry (Tucker) of 54 years; Daughters Stephanie Hardin and Christine Wood; Grandchildren Maysen. Naomi. Audrey, Willow, Abigail, and Violet; Sisters Delores Brown, Linda Berry and Nancy (John) Murphy; Sister-in-law Terry (Gary) Dye and brother-in-law Michael Tucker, along with many other family and friends. Richard was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Sandy Clay and brother-in-law Ralph Berry.
A memorial service will be held Friday November 12, 2021 from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm at Summit Station United Methodist Church 6626 Summit Road SW Pataskala, OH 43062.
