Richard Johnson, 64, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Born to the late Arthur L. and Betty (Ferrell) Johnson in Cleveland on May 13, 1944, Richard was raised by his grandparents, Joseph and Mamie Johnson. Survivors include his brother, William L. Johnson; uncles, Norris (Bertha) Johnson and Amos (Myrna) Johnson; aunts, Ruby Leigh and Josephine Stewart; special friend, Donald Neely; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. Richard attended The Church of Christ of Apostolic Faith for over 40 years. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2008, in the Chapel, at the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219. Services will begin at 11:00 AM and the family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until the start of service. Bishop Eugene Lundy will officiate. Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to serve the Johnson family.
