Richard M. Kendell (Punny), 87, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Hilliard, Ohio.
He was born on February 26, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Samuel and Pauline (Kendell) Parks.
Richard is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Kendell Pogue and grandson, Darin Pogue.
Richard is survived by his wife, Marlene Kendell; daughter, Kellee Kendell; grandson, Kendell R Bouquette; great-grandchild, Noah Scurlock Kendell; sister, Suzanne Parks; honorary brothers, Halroy Williams, Joe Roberts; honorary sister, Sandra Gatliff Goggins; nephews, Nicolas Parks, Malcolm Weston, Raphael Weston, Scott Goggins and a host of family and friends.
Richard was an avid sports fan. He retired from AT&T.
He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lupus Foundation of America in Richard's honor.
A visitation will be held on June 1, 2022 from 11:00am - 12:00pm with a memorial service immediately following at St. Phillip Episcopal Church, 166 Woodland Ave Columbus, Ohio.
