Richard M Carter Sr.

Richard M. Carter, Sr, 77, Columbus, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Dick was born in Columbus, OH on September 23, 1935, to George W. and Loa Faye (Schirtzinger) Carter and is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Marie (Fisher) Carter; sons, Dick (Shirley) Jr., Ron (Lynette), Rob (Jeannie), Mike (Paula) Carter; sisters, Jane (Orville) Williamson and Helen (Curt) Billingsley; brother, James (Theresa) Carter; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews cousins and many friends.

Dick worked for ASRCO for 31 years. Dick's family would like to thank Willie and Dinah Williams and the Mill Run Garden and Care Center for their support and care during the family's time of need.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012, 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM.
