Richard W. Phelps, age 68, passed away on August 22, 2021. He was born on January 3, 1953 to the late Elizabeth and Bailey Phelps in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Rick was a over-road truck driver for DMS Moving Systems for many years. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. Rick was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was loved by everyone.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 39 years, Bonnie; children, Tammy (Glen) Pennington and Brenda (Walter Vogel) Puckett; his four-legged daughter, his dog, Destiny; sisters, Brenda Wendell and Peggy Conner; numerous grandkids and great-grandkids. Rick was preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Phelps, Jack Phelps, Bailey Phelps Jr., Clinton E. Phelps.
The visitation will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 2-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
