Survived by his loving wife of 51yrs Phyllis Serio. 52yr anniversary would’ve been celebrated February 10th
Survived by his Children, Mike Karres (Mariko Karres), Angelia Francis (Jesse Francis), Joanna Patton (Russell Patton)
Grandchildren, Jeremy Francis (Kyra Francis), Mark Francis, Anna Patton, Kenzo Karres. 1 Great-Granddaughter, Kaydence Francis, his Sister-in-law Barb Block he loved like a daughter, longtime friendships, The Buoni’s, The Roten’s The Signoracci’s and the Mohler’s.
A man that lived with ambition and integrity. Born and raised in Columbus Ohio. Enjoyed spending time on Lake Cumberland and with his family. Always willing to help others. A family man and a friend of many. Enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, BS’ing and loved his Harley. Owner/ Operator of RS Roofing company of 42yrs. Business shutdown due to illness.
He provided and protected his family from day one.
He loved his wife dearly as she stood beside him through his best and most difficult moments
He was close with his Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren often teasing them with fun and teaching them valuable life lessons.
Visitation for Rick will be on Wednesday February 5, 2025 from 5:00pm-7:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43231, with a memorial service at 7:00pm at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be donated to Delaware Humane Society.
