Rick "Ponytail Rick" Sanders, 45, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his residence.
He was born April 23, 1968 in Akron.
Rick graduated from West Branch High School 1986 and also from Marietta College in 1990 earning a degree in Psychology.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Sanders.
Rick is survived by his mother, Pat Sanders; brothers, Bill and Mike Sanders and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jazz Arts Group of Columbus Jazz Academy
