Richard Allen Simpson
October 29, 1954 — August 5, 2023
Richard Allen Simpson, 68, passed away August 5, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Herbert and Doris Simpson and son, Brian Simpson. Richard is survived by wife of 45 years, Joellen Simpson; daughters, Katie (Tim) England and Kim (Nate) Stowe; grandchildren, Thomas, Bryan, Jenna, Claire, Eli, and Kalyn; and niece and nephew.
Richard was born and raised in Columbus and attended Eastmoor High School. He loved coaching, organizing trips, and being his grandchildren's biggest fan.
Visitation Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 3-6pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Monday, August 14, 2023 at 11am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Groveport Cemetery.
