Richard Eugene Williams
September 10, 1972 — May 17, 2022
Richard Williams age 49 of Southwest Columbus went peacefully on May 17th to fly with the angels.
He was proceeded in death by both his parents Joseph and Marion Williams.
He is survived by his loving partner of over 12 years, Tonda Cleaver and family.
Rich was born on Sept.10th,1972 at Mount Carmel West and grew up in Columbus. He graduated from Franklin Heights in 1991. He worked a few places before he went to work at Nationwide for 21 years and then lastly at Amazon.
His favorite things to do were to watch a Buckeyes game, hang out with friends and family and head to the Gulf in Florida. He loved going to any beach and was planning on moving to Tampa before being diagnosed with stomach, and small intestine cancer. He fought through chemo and surgeries for a little over a year but the cancer was to aggressive and God called him home.
Inurnment will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 1 p.m., at Greenlawn Cemetery, Section 121, 1000 Greenlawn Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43223.
