Rick A. Wasmus, 54 of Columbus passed away Monday June 17, 2013 at the Kobacher House surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 1, 1958 in Columbus, OH.
Rick graduated as top marksman from the Eastland Career Center Police Academy and worked as a Police Officer for the Harrisburg Police Department. He was an avid outdoorsman who earned Best of Show at the Ohio Deer Expo for his prized 11 point buck that he harvested November 26, 1990.
He was a former member of the Hilltop Sportsmen Club and Franklin County Coonhunter's Association.
Preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Wasmus; grandparents, William and Victoria McCleary.
Survived by his loving wife, Tina whom he married on September 10, 1983; mother, Rev. Patricia A. (Anthony Pagnanelli) Wasmus-Pagnanelli; twin sons, Joshua A. (Justine) and Jeremiah A. (Amanda), sons Robert T., Richard L. Wasmus; granddaughter, Lydia Justine and expectant grandson, Isaiah Allen; sister, Victoria (Tore'); brothers, William, Ted (Teresa), Vincent; nieces, Brittany, Karley, Livia; nephews, Cory, Billy; step-brothers, Mike (Missy), Tony (Jennifer); step-sister, Teresa (Shaun) and other family and many good friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, June 21, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A memorial service will be held 4 PM Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Living Savior Ministries, 1586 Dyer Road, Grove City, OH 43123.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Living Savior Ministries.
