Rita Justus

Rita Virginia Justus, 83, of Grove City, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Monday, December 4th, 2023, after her 11-year battle with Dementia.

Rita was born June 1, 1940, to George and Marion (Lusch) Monroe.

Rita was retired from Ohio Health Riverside. She enjoyed Darby Dale Garden Club, Doll collecting, Garage sales, and had enough Christmas spirit for an entire village. She valued time with her family and friends and was extremely selfless, always putting everyone else first. Rita will be remembered as a a loving, caring and compassionate soul who would give the shirt off her back for any stranger.

Rita is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Cynthia (Bobby)Green, two son's, Curt Justus, and Craig Justus, son in law; Ron See; grandchildren Allen (Kayleen) Justus, Eric (Katie) See, Autumn Wippel, and Brent See; great-grandchildren Emily, Ellie, Noah, AJ; and siblings Susan Monroe, Patricia (Randall) Martin, Helen Monroe, and Ronald Monroe.

Rita is proceeded in death by her mother and father, George and Marion Monroe, sister Marilyn (Merrill) Wolfe, and brother George Monroe.


Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 2:00pm until time of funeral service at 4:00pm. Pastor Owen Stotts officiating.
