Rita Jane Stethem

Rita Jane Stethem , 89, of Orient, passed away May 23, 2024. Rita was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 21, 1935 to Harold and Evelyn Elliott.

Rita was a Buckeye fan through and through, she was a season ticket holder. Rita loved life and enjoyed everyone she met. She was an absolute lovely lady and everyone who met her adored her.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 60 years, Lewis David Stethem; Father, Harold Spring Elliott; Mother, Evelyn Smith; Son, Jeffery David Stethem; Rita is survived by, brother, Larry Elliott and sister, Carol Bucy, Son, Rob E (Kathy) Stethem; Three grandchildren, Samuel Stethem, Sara (Shane) Portier, Kelsey (Brandon Vassel) Dotson; great grandkids, Nolan and MaKenna Portier, many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
