Robbin Oates

Robbin Theodore Oates, 70, passed away July 30, 2023. He was preceded in death by fathers, Robert G. Oates and Robert Sterling; sister, Jodi West; grandmothers, Urma Willeke and Edna Oates; grandfathers, Clayton Willeke and Frank Oates; and furry companion, Lela. Robbin is survived by mother, Beverly Sterling; sisters, Cynda (Richard Sr.) Hawk and Pamela (Michael) Nickell ; brother, Curtis (Christopher) Sterling; nieces and nephews, Laura (Joe) Frazier, Tyna (Al) Anderson, Richard Jr.(Ginger) Hawk, Chad (Tammy) Hawk, Gretchen (Sean) Bailey, and Betsy (Adam) Shreck; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Robbin worked at Pactiv for over thirty years. He enjoyed bowling, throwing darts, coloring, fishing, and making crafts. Robbin was an avid OSU Buckeye fan. He loved spending time with family and his cat, Cindy Lou.

Visitation Monday, August 14, 2023 from 5-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 10am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Grove Cemetery in Kenton, OH. Visitors are encouraged to wear their favorite sports team swag.
