Robert L. Ackerman, 71, died August 15, 2009 at Doctors West after a brief illness. He was a former employee of Westinghouse and Union Oil. He also retired from the Franklin County Department of Human Services. Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie; daughter, Cindy (Keith) Miller; son, Norman; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
