Robert (Bob) Clayton Anderson, 82, of Columbus, Ohio, returned home to his Heavenly Father on January 29, 2024. Robert was a long time resident of the New Albany Rehabilitation Center where he could always be found with a smile on his face and a dumdum sucker in tow.
Robert was born on November 29, 1941 to the late Rev. Thomas L. Anderson Sr. and Willa L. Anderson in Fairmont, West Virginia. A proud Korean War Veteran, Bob was the second youngest of nine siblings. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Constance (Maxine) Brown Anderson, brothers, Thomas Jr., William (Base), David, and his sisters, Iris and Willa.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, children, Kim Anderson Armstrong of Pittsburgh and Robert Anderson Jr. of Pittsburgh. Five grandchildren, Roderick Armstrong, Taylor Armstrong, Qaadir Anderson, Messiah Anderson, Malik Kirkland, and four great-grandchildren, Amir Armstrong, Winston Armstrong, Rion Armstrong, and DaSiah Anderson all of Pittsburgh. Sisters, Alice Daniels of Nashville, Mary Randolph of Columbus, and brother, Alan Anderson of Columbus. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231.
