Robert J. "Bob" Buckley, 71, passed away April 30, 2012. Born December 7, 1940 to James and Mary Buckley.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother John.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Ann Marie (Eric) Troyer, Irene (Steve) Borror and Sarah (Harrison Smith) Buckley; sister, Maureen (Terry Sr.) Huff; grandchildren, Emily, Daniel and Samuel Troyer and John and Rose Borror; sister-in-law Joan (Steve) Pastva; brother-in-law, James (Dianne) Balthaser; as well as many other loved ones and dear friends.
Bob graduated from Holy Family High School in 1959. He was a veteran of the United States Army and longtime employee of Airtron (Bogen & Bogen). He retired from Emerson Liebert in 2007.
Visitation Friday, May 4, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Memorial Mass Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12:30 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Holy Family Soup Kitchen c/o Holy Family Church, 584 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215 or the charity of your choice.
