Robert L. Burns, 84, of Grove City, passed away peacefully Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Kobacker House. He was born August 4, 1925, in Huntington, WV, son of the late James and Nora Wright Burns. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Burns, infant daughter, Belinda Burns and stepson, James Tengler Jr. He served in the Army during WWII. Bob retired from Household Finance in 1981 and also worked for Key Bank. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Veronica Burns; daughters, Deborah Woodland and Sue (Dan) Romuno; son, Benjamin Burns; grandson, Franco Romuno; stepson, David Tengler; stepdaughter, Sandra (Dale) Wright; stepdaughter-in-law, Kimberly Tengler. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
