Robert C. Lee, Sr.

Robert C. Lee, Sr., age 69, formerly of Westerville, died Wednesday, September 21, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on June 20, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio. He was an avid fisherman and an active member of the United Church of God. He was preceded in death by parents Luther and Susie Lee; brothers, Warren and Luther Lee, Jr.; sister, Betty Scott; son, Robert C. Lee, Jr. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Virginia A. (Durant); sons, Christopher Lee and Mike (Linda) Lee; daughters, Pam Lee, Melodie (Bobby) Mcabee and Cheryl (Terry) Williamson; brothers, David Lee, Fred (Dixie) Lee and Sam Lee. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00a.m., Monday, September 26 at the funeral home. Reverend Jim Hopkins will be officiating.
