Robert L. Cason was born March 11, 1948 in Columbus Ohio.
He was a member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church.
Robert attended school at Linden McKinley High School and a college graduate.
Preceded in death by mother, Ruby Smith; father, Milton Cason; daughter, Katrina Jones; brothers, Claude "Butch" Scott, Carl Scott; sister, Carlotta Scott.
Robert is survived by wife, Shirley Cason; his daughters, Tiwana Mitchell (Keith), Jada Mullins, Roberta Tolliver, Lanetta Cason, Yvonne (Sherryle) Harrison (Fred); son, Anthony Edwards; brother, George Scott (Elaine); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and additional family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Cemetery.
