Robert Matthew "Matt" Cianflona, aged 60, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 22nd.
Matt was born on July 15, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to John "Jack" F. and Patricia Ann (Myers) Cianflona.
Matt worked as an auto body repairman throughout his life, and was the first to be called if something was wrong with their car. Matt enjoyed bowling and golf, especially with his family. Even though he was a good cook and often brought the food most enjoyed at family gatherings, Matt enjoyed simple breakfast restaurants (Waffle House) when dining out.
Matt was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Pat. He is survived by his two sons, Michael (Megan) and Thomas Cianflona, his siblings Lynne, Denise, Tracey, Deb, and Jim, plus many nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering this Friday, September 30th at Vineyard Columbus, (6000 Cooper Rd, Westerville, OH, 43081) in the chapel. Friends and family from 10:00-11:00 AM and a service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Timothy School (attn George Mosholder), 1070 Thomas Lane, Columbus, Ohio, 43220.
